Words: No matter how often we pick it up, the island / butcher block in our kitchen always collects messes. Jonas's high chair tray, coupons, grocery lists, magazines, papers from Eliza's school, random kitchen things, stuff that needs to be put away... it collectes messes always.
Here's what you can take from this:
- Don't feel that you can't take pictures in your home because it's not Apartment Therapy worthy! Our house is always a mess, but that doesn't stop me from clicking away. That's real life, too.
- Use the photo as a jumping off point for the words. Instead of listing the things that constitute the mess that are in the photo, I listed the sort of things that are usually in that spot.
This is my documentation from the Daily Doc | Nov 2012 handout. It has 30 prompts to use if you get stuck documenting. I'm tackling all of these this month AND doing unplanned daily documentation. I printed out the prompts (pages 2-4 of the handout) and I'm highlighting them to cross them off as I go. I'm not doing them in order; I'm using them as they make sense for me.
If you did unplanned documentation today, post a link to it in the comments section!
I am done catching up on my blog (but did document daily on paper) and back to a daily post (hopefully). Today's post is here : http://fibiscrap.wordpress.com/2012/11/12/dlw-daily-doc-november-12/
ReplyDeleteNow I'll go and read your daily posts :D
