Nov 29 Documentation | Handout

Prompt: Seasonal produce
Photo:
Hello, honeycrisp.
Words: Honeycrisp apples are amazing. They're sweet as candy and are perfect for dipping at parties, as they don't oxidize quickly. Unfortunately, they're only in season a few weeks out of the year. Maybe they taste that much more delicious because they're seasonal.

Here's what you can take from this:
  • Again, this isn't what I was thinking I would do for this prompt. I thought I'd get a pretty shot of tons of produce at the grocery store or farmer's market, but it never happened. So I picked my favorite seasonal food from my refrigerator instead.
  • Position yourself near a window inside to get great natural light. So that the light wasn't patched, I picked a spot in a shadow.

This is my documentation from the Daily Doc | Nov 2012 handout. It has 30 prompts to use if you get stuck documenting. I'm tackling all of these this month AND doing unplanned daily documentation. I printed out the prompts (pages 2-4 of the handout) and I'm highlighting them to cross them off as I go. I'm not doing them in order; I'm using them as they make sense for me.
If you did documentation from the handout today, post a link to it in the comments section!
