Nov 25 Documentation | Handout

Prompt: A friend or family member's home.

Words: I love Jake's grandparent's house. They've lived there forever, and it's really hard to imagine that they raised 10 kids in that house (where did they put them?!?). It's homey and cosy. I think that the coolest thing is the basement, where Grandma Anderson's bakery is. There are tons of freezers, industrial ovens, and industrial mixers. It's where all of the magic happens. (Her cinnamon rolls might be the most delicious thing ever.)

Here's what you can take from this:
  • Take a photo on the inside or outside of the home. This photo would have been way cooler if Jake's grandparents were actually in it, so maybe you could try to also get the residents in the shot!
  • Even though the picture is of a bird feeder and the back porch of the house, I wrote about the house as a whole and the basement specifically. Think of the photo as a visual aid. You don't have to write about what's going on in a photo specifically.

This is my documentation from the Daily Doc | Nov 2012 handout. It has 30 prompts to use if you get stuck documenting. I'm tackling all of these this month AND doing unplanned daily documentation. I printed out the prompts (pages 2-4 of the handout) and I'm highlighting them to cross them off as I go. I'm not doing them in order; I'm using them as they make sense for me.
If you did documentation from the handout today, post a link to it in the comments section!
